ummary:

Serves as a liaison between the Project Management Office and various department executives. Responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in requirements development, operations analysis, business management consulting, or a related discipline. Advanced Excel capability, project planning experience, Visio experience, Information Security and/or banking controls experience, Banking systems (payments preferred). Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Specific Functions:

  • Analyze, assess and document business requirements in an unambiguous and clear manner to support the business.
  • Work on technology business projects to meet specific requirements and define business needs.
  • Define business architecture and functional design.
  • Create specifications from which programs will be written, e.g. use cases, sequence diagrams, process flows.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  • Mentor the team by providing expert advice, suggestions, clarifying doubts and solving technical/functional issues.
  • Define product objectives and requirements. Define specifications and data models for product development and testing.
  • Conduct functional walk-throughs with various stakeholders.
  • Research and document Bank needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
  • Analyze system impacts to other systems and procedures.
  • Write test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet Bank needs and application integrity is maintained.
  • Conduct a variety of tests such as system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct tests using Bank data to be certain that Bank needs will be met.
  • Guide the technical team on the functional requirements and debugging as needed.
  • Participate in training personnel on enhancements, and new systems or procedures.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications at both business and deep technical levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in application development in objective-oriented development or other relevant technology.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with process improvement and process mapping.
  • Strong leadership skills, dependable, curious, matrix-oriented, a visionary, solution oriented, delivers exemplary customer service and quality focused.
