Responsibilities:

The Configuration Manager is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Lead all Configuration Management and Change Management effort across the program
  • Develop Configuration, Change, and Documentation Management processes
  • Maintain master library of all artifacts for the program
  • Maintain control of the technical baseline and information about all sites/systems
  • Track SW licenses and HW warranties for all sites/systems
  • Work closely with the CyberSecurity team to ensure all material for the Risk
  • Management Framework (RMF) is accounted for and tracked
  • Work closely with the Equipment Specialist to ensure all deliveries are accounted for and tracked
  • Facilitate Requirements and Release Configuration Control Board(s)
  • Conduct quality control of delivered documentation to established standards
  • Capture and track actions items as required
  • Distribute material to team as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Configuration
  • Management of government or IT-based system.
  • Clearance – US Citizen with a current, active SECRET clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in Configuration Management of government or IT-based system
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Experience with Life Cycle Systems Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
