Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations to ensure a safe, injury-free workplace in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Proactively identify and resolve production challenges to meet daily goals and prevent recurrence of issues.
Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals and set clear expectations.
Monitor production flow hourly, remove bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Coach and mentor associates, fostering skill development and building team strength.
Support associates through operational changes and act as a vital communication bridge between management and the production team.
Audit quality, safety, and scrap performance; recommend and implement improvements.
Assist in developing standardized work procedures and ensure adherence to Leader Standard Work.
Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve processes, workflow, and materials delivery.
Review production schedules, allocate labor effectively, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and apply problem-solving skills to enhance production and working conditions.
What We’re Looking For
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (or a willingness to learn).
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
