Manufacturing & Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Identify and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
  • Design and develop manufacturing fixtures, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to improve production line efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in new product development projects, providing input on manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for quality-related issues.
  • Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection and testing procedures.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address quality improvement projects.
  • Train and mentor production personnel on quality control processes and standards.
  • Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
  • Experience with quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
