Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
- Design and develop manufacturing fixtures, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve production line efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Participate in new product development projects, providing input on manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for quality-related issues.
- Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection and testing procedures.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address quality improvement projects.
- Train and mentor production personnel on quality control processes and standards.
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering roles.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Experience with quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
