Logistics Broker

 

Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm, working every 5th weekend.

 

Ann asset-based carrier, has a new job opportunity in the Brokerage Department at our Terminal in Earth City, MO. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and strive for excellence in customer service, our client would be a great place for you. They are looking for individuals who have experience in freight brokerage. They service Mexico, US, and Canada.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Match freight with carriers
• Manage freight from current customers
• Generate new carriers
• Generate new freight opportunities
• Dispatch drivers
• Plan, track and trace freight

 

Requirements

• Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400
• Prior experience in Brokerage/Logistics industry
• Customer/Carrier following, a plus
