Role Overview:

As a Project Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers and architects to manage and design a variety of ambitious global projects. From inception through to completion, you will play a crucial role in every phase of project management and development within our multidisciplinary engineering firm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or capability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • At least 8 years of experience focusing on infrastructure development and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and modeling tools such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC RAS, and MicroStation.
  • Experience in project management and client services is highly preferred.
  • Background in working with the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, Veterans Affairs, Department of Transportation, or municipalities is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support all project phases, from schematic design through construction documentation and administration.
  • Engage directly with clients to establish project requirements, concepts, and presentations.
  • Coordinate project teams to ensure design intentions are incorporated into all documentation and construction phases.
  • Create detailed design documents and calculations for various civil engineering projects.
  • Assist in managing project deliverables, ensuring adherence to format, standards, and timelines.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis pertinent to project specifics.
  • Produce comprehensive digital and hard copy documents aligned with client specifications and project timelines.
  • Develop detailed plans for site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and other infrastructure elements using industry-leading software.
  • Conduct site visits and validate site conditions and as-built documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings with contractors for design clarification and construction oversight.
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues, providing expert guidance to the project team.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance reviews to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
