INDUCTION HEAT TREATING MANAGER
Essential Job Functions:

Standardize Execution by -
- Defining Safety and Quality Standards
- Defining Process, Procedure and Technical Applications
- Defining Equipment Standards / Maintenance
- Reviewing Large Consumable Purchases and CAPEX
- Approving Technical Training and Certifications
- Reviewing Field Audits and Competency Development
- Approving Critical Job Review
- Managing risks associated with Safety, Quality, Financial, Environmental and Regulatory requirements
- Implementing, leading and executing technical training
Improve Commercial Performance by -
- Reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Reviewing Pricing and Margins
- Reviewing Win/Loss/Pending Tracking and Analysis
- Supporting Job Walks, Quotes and Bid Support
- Supporting Commercial Training
- Performing Competitive Analysis
- Recommending New Markets and Services
- Supporting Industry Representation and Influence
- Identifying market opportunities
- Optimizing and leading commercial performance through improved efforts, innovative technical solutions, and margin differentiation
Manage Life Cycle by -
- Providing technical expertise in support of Divisional sales and profitability efforts
- Performing Application and Incident Technical Support
- Performing Risk Identification and Mapping
- Performing Digitization and Improved Decision Making
- Defining Lean / Agile Processes
- Supporting Ideation / Innovation and New Technologies
- Recommending Acquisitions and Strategic Alliances
- Being the Voice of the customer
- Manages the performance of his/her immediate and extended teams by
- Influencing and leading P&SLM’s, P&SLS’ and SME’s
- Establishing individual performance objectives
- Defining tasks and projects to the staff
- Supporting training needs and coaching
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Five (5) years of relevant industry and service line experience required
- Three (3) years of supervisory and/or training experience required
- Ability to complete work assignments and proposals in an allotted time period and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to understand profit and loss statements and communicate results
- Experience supervising field projects and reviewing P&IDs, Isometrics and other engineering drawings
- Demonstrated specialized technical knowledge in specific P&SL(s)/discipline
- Ability to travel to national and/or international District offices and customer sites to perform assigned duties
- Intermediate business software knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel requirement up to 50%
