BDM - combustion OEM

Seeking an experienced Combustion or Electrical Engineer to build and lead our operations in North America. The position will be based near Detroit, MI, where our new North American headquarter is being built.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engineering and sales of industrial gas burner systems as well complete heating systems from gas main train to fan blower layout
• Engineering and sales of electric heating systems in combination with the associated control equipment
• Coordinate and execute the marketing strategy for North America
• Work out and follow up on quotations for various industrial projects
• Be the company’s representative at industry events and at industry associations, work out presentations and conduct training on systems for our customers
• Built a sales and service network throughout North America
• Be a strong and visionary leader who can built a team of high temperature industrial heating experts.

Requirements:

• Relevant education and training for the job, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the combustion or industrial furnace industry
• Experience in engineered to order industrial gas burners and electrical heating systems
• Experience in the industrial heat processing marketplace
• Demonstrable track record of growth and accountability
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
• Ability to strategically analyze a customer’s needs in a competitive environment
• Ability to sell creatively and recognize potential new markets, customers and opportunities

Position offers a competitive compensation of base salary plus commission and a lot of room to grow into a leading position as the business develops and grows. The position comes with health and dental benefits, and 401 (k).

Compensation: $140,000.00
