Aftermarket Manager - furnace OEM
Manages all activities surrounding the Aftermarket/Services function, including but not limited to handling service orders, parts orders, scheduling service appointments, technical calls, planning and executing ways to increase revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with service contract development, management and execution.
• Schedule and coordinate the field service technicians.
• Develop and enforce standardized processes and procedures for department drive parts and service revenue and improve our service level optimization.
• Handle technical assistances call.
• Develop department metrics, such as but not limited to, quote closing rate, proposals sent out per individual, quote backlog, time per quote, etc.
• Work with customers to collectively solve system issues and continuously improve customer support levels.
• Works closely with internal departments to drive resolution to customer issues
• Occasionally travel to customer sites or other business units.
• Create strategy focused on spare parts and service sales growth.
• Possesses knowledge of the product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.
• Responsible for warranty administration on parts and service.
• Recommends corrective services to adjust customer complaints.
• Optimizing inventory by creating strategy that reduces lead times.
• Collect relative competitive data to insure parts prices are being optimized and market share is increasing.
