NA Sales Manager - AUTOMOTIVE

The North American Sales Manager will achieve the sales targets which are set by the organization and will be responsible to establish and to define the related sales strategies, which allow the automotive business to develop accordingly. An intensive and focused presence and follow-up in his market is required.


  • Set the related strategies to accomplish with the sales goals defined by the organization with a focused approach.
  • Coordinate and push the sales activities of the automotive business in the market like: customer visits, service trips, presentations, marketing material, customers and projects definition, contracts review and negotiations, etc.
  • Continuously monitor and report of the sales performance of customers, through the definition and follow up of the corresponding KPI’s
  • Continuously look at and report the market and competitors trend
  • Organize the customer service related activities: receive, process and follow-up of the customer orders to accomplish with 100% deliveries on time
  • Assure an appropriate coordination and follow up of the different sales project activities until achieving a stable business with the customers
  • Define, set and assure the required resources to the Sales department, assigning their activities, responsibilities and goals
  • Track and support the development and performance of the resources in the Sales Department

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Turnover and growth for assigned area
  • Contribution margin II on PC base for assigned area
  • Keeping CRM data on actual basis
  • Contact Management
  • Price negotiations for local accounts
  • Mediation of conflicts (quality, contracts, payments, etc.)

 Profile and Competencies:

  • Concluded studies of a Bachelor or Master level in a Technical-Commercial area
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, in the Automotive sector
  • Proficient in Spanish and English. Desirable a third language
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as self-initiative
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in an international environment
  • Leadership skills. Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Good experience in Projects Management
  • Organizational and coordination skills
