Position Purpose: Needed for the projected increased in-service tickets, in-person service, provisioning EUD tasks, shipping/receiving tasks, monitoring inventory assets, tracking tickets status, providing data for monthly reports, and balancing after-hours work requirements
Job Description
- Use an automated ticketing system to resolve customer incidents
- Ability to provide Tier II level support and elevate to Tier III while providing detailed technical information
- Fulfill service desk calls using scripts but able to provide additional guidance based on experience as necessary
- Resolve incidents with VIP customers in a fast-paced environment
- Leverage interpersonal skills to engage a variety of customers
- Perform remote desktop support
- Monitor and maintain internal equipment inventory
Required
- Must have active SECRET security clearance
- 2 to 4 years of desktop support experience
- Knowledge of active directory
- Current DOD IAT II Certification (ex. Security +)
- 2 to 4 years working on Windows environment
- Experience with enterprise automated ticketing systems.
- Experience providing remote desktop support
- Fundamental knowledge of virtualization environment
- Experience working on a service desk team for an enterprise organization
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify faults and develop how-to guides
Desired
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Working knowledge of CSfC technologies and methodologies
- One of the following Technical Certifications: VMware certification, CCNA, ITIL
- Experiencece working with VIP military and civilian staff
- Current experience in the Army's classified and unclassified distributed work environment architectures and systems
- Experience working in and supporting an Operations Center
- Experience providing Tier 1 or 2 support for a virtual environment
Required Years of Experience: 3 years minimum
Education Minimum: Associate's degree in information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related IT Management
