Intro: Full-time RPSGT to conduct overnight sleep studies in a sleep center, ensuring high-quality polysomnography and patient care during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3-4 nights/week).
Requirements:
Conduct polysomnographic studies (PSG, CPAP, BiPAP titrations).
Set up equipment, apply electrodes/sensors, and monitor patients.
Score sleep stages, respiratory/cardiac events, and prepare reports.
Document observations every 20 minutes (sleep stages, clinical events, SaO2, heart rate).
Ensure compliance with AASM standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
RPSGT certification from BRPT or RRT with sleep study experience.
NY state polysomnographic technologist license.
Current BCLS certification.
2+ years of sleep technologist experience preferred.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods.
