Configuration and Data Management Analyst

Requirements:

  • U.S Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • This position is hybrid (on-site/remote). Candidate will be required to work on-site at minimum, three days a week in Washington DC.
  • This position has an initial 30-day on-site requirement (4-5 days/week) to ensure familiarization with program and Federal staff and the overall operating environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Configures and deploys Windows laptop and server images.
  • Responsible for the effective development and implementation of programs to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum government standards and end-user requirements.
  • Responsible for configuration management of requirements, design, and code.
  • Evaluates and selects configuration management tools and standards.
  • Prepares configuration management plans and procedures.
  • Administers problem management process including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.
  • Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation.
  • Coordinates with users and systems development personnel on releases of software.
  • Makes recommendations to superiors regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency, configuration management activities including product identification, change control, status accounting, operation of the program support library, and development and monitoring of equipment/system acceptance plans.
  • Operates and manages program support library.
  • Monitors end-item acceptance plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill plus 5 years of experience or 7 years experience in lieu of degree. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools.
  • Strong Understanding of Change and Configuration Management.
  • Knowledge of traditional and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems, to include Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills and positive motivation.
  • One or more of the following certification(s): CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or other Security certification as approved by DOJ CRM.
