Job Title: VP Finance
Job Purpose:
The Vice President | Finance will oversee all financial aspects of our organization and drive business growth. This role will provide strategic guidance to executive management and have a strong background in finance, accounting & leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in line with company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage financial department staff, including accounting and budgeting, risk & tax management
- Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- Provide guidance to executive management on financial matters, including financial analysis and forecasting
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with all finance and accounting regulations and laws
- Collaborate with other departments to develop long-term financial plans and budgets
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and investors
- Collaborate with VP of Cash Management to monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity of the organization
- Present financial reports to executive management and board of directors on a regular basis
- Reports to and supports CFO with special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA/MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with financial and accounting software, and knowledge of industry regulations and laws
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of improving financial performance and driving business growth
