Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled Die Casting Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating tools, fixtures, and repairing molds to support our manufacturing processes. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of machinery, and a commitment to safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Tool Creation & Maintenance: Design, fabricate, and maintain tools and fixtures to support production needs.
2. Mold Repair: Diagnose issues with molds and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Machine Operation: Safely set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and grinding machines.
4. Interpret Drawings: Work from part drawings to understand specifications and requirements for tool and die production.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all tools and dies meet quality standards and specifications.
6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques and machinery in the tool and die industry.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work from part drawings.
• Proven experience in Die Casting with the safe set up and operation of manual mills, lathes, and grinding machines.
• Zinc Die Casting a strong plus
• Knowledge of EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and best practices.
