Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Machinists Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining specialized tools used by machinists in our production processes. This role demands precision, a deep understanding of machinery, and a commitment to producing high-quality tools that meet our machinists' needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Tool Design & Fabrication: Create custom tools tailored to specific machining tasks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
2. Maintenance & Repair: Regularly inspect tools for wear or damage and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with machinists to understand their tooling needs and make recommendations for tool improvements.
4. Machine Operation: Safely set up and operate machinery used in the tool-making process, including grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all fabricated tools meet or exceed company and industry standards.
6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques, materials, and machinery in the tool-making industry.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tool-making, preferably for machinists.
• Proficiency in operating machinery such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Strong understanding of tool design and fabrication techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
