J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for a Quantitative Developer at a prominent NYC Global Investment Bank on their Quant Strat Team.
An exciting opportunity to build scalable and creative financial engineering capabilities that support the investment process and help manage risk & capital.
The Quant Dev will provide “hands-on” support to the trading desk, portfolio managers and risk managers to ensure they have the data and tools needed to make investment decisions and build new tools to unlock opportunities and automate the execution of trade ideas. Building scalable, creative solutions to problems involving their investment process is their mandate. The firm views Quantitative Technology as a distinct competitive advantage - enabling a host of opportunities that differentiate them from their competitors.
Working on the trading floor with the Quantitative Investment Strategy desk, your role will consist in expanding their Index products offering by implementing new systematic trading strategies and developing cutting edge multi assets trading and risk management applications.
The Quant Strategy team applies specialist methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to generate revenue. The focus is derivative valuation and risk, automated trading and execution, data-driven decision-making, and pushing new areas of growth.
