J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for a Data Engineer at a prominent Asset Manager in their NYC Data Science Innovation Center.
The Data Engineering team is at the forefront of innovation as they embark on building Data Science, Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning capabilities to transform large amounts of structured and unstructured data such as text, time series, and events into machine-readable knowledge fueling applications and the investment decision making process. This is a very young team, enabling you to make an impact from the onset.

They’re looking for Data Engineers to join their new Technology Development Center in Manhattan. The team is tasked with building next generation data analysis platforms and are responsible for the ingestion and processing of large, disparate datasets and application of advanced statistical and machine learning methods to produce models and prescriptive data that result in better decisions by their Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Traders, Quants and / or applications.
