J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at a prominent NYC / Greenwich CT Private Credit/Equity organization. The firm is flexible with Hybrid Remote or Remote Consultants.

The AI Consultant will be a significant contributor to enabling the firm’s AI / ML vision and helping the organization to grow and improve their businesses.

An exciting opportunity to join the firm’s Technology team responsible for setting the overall AI / ML strategy, solutions and direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of major projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for implementing AI solutions
• Design, develop and implement AI applications and solutions to improve business operations
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop machine learning models and AI systems
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for AI initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with business goals
• Monitor the performance of AI systems and make necessary adjustments
• Stay up to date with the latest AI trends and technologies
• Provide training and guidance to teams on AI technologies and applications
• Ensure adherence to AI ethics and data privacy standards
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented AI strategies

The ideal candidate would have a background including:

• A solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience as an AI Consultant or similar role
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI applications and solutions
• Experience with AI related programming languages such as Python or R
• Familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating people and resources
• Experience developing a strategy and implementing a program
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and at or under budget
• Ability to work in an open collaborative and highly charged environment.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain a close working relationship’s
• Confident communicator
• Enthusiasm for learning & results oriented
• Strong desire to contribute and build a business – not just solve novel problems.
• Ability to work with a wide range of clients and technologists to develop and implement technology in support of a dynamically growing Private Credit platform

Required Education:

• Strong academic record and a BA/BS degree with high mathematical and computing content (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or relevant field)
