J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for a User Experience (UX) Designer at a prominent Asset Manager in their NYC Technology Development Center (TDC).
As a UX designer you will have empathy for the user, a deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD), and strong analytical abilities. You will understand technical limitations as well as business strategies and goals, backed by a knowledge of different technologies. You will conduct user research, interviews, and surveys and use the information to craft sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
The User Experience (UX) Designer position has been established to provide world-class visualization and workflows in support of their investment process for their Front and Middle Office analysts in Research, Portfolio Management, Trading, and Operations who demand best-in-class digital solutions to drive their performance in the financial markets. The UX Designer will join a team innovating the future of solutions for their investment professionals, providing thought leadership for the development and delivery of engaging and delighting experience for their clients and associates.
