Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer

Calibrate has been retained by a New York City-based full-service commercial law firm with approximately 50 attorneys to recruit for a Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer (CMBDO).

The CMBDO will serve as a strategic advisor and leader, overseeing the firm’s marketing, business development, branding, and communications programs. The CMBDO will develop, execute, and measure strategic initiatives focused on enhancing client relationships and increasing the firm’s visibility in target markets

In addition to building, motivating, and leading a high-performing team, the CMBDO is expected to be deeply engaged with the firm leadership. This position will closely collaborate with firm leaders to align and integrate the department’s deliverables with the strategic goals of the firm and its practice groups to drive growth and brand presence in the market.

Candidates must demonstrate experience creating and executing strategic objectives with clear results.

To be considered, candidates must possess a minimum of ten years of experience in marketing and/or business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
