Strategic Growth Manager

We are working on behalf of Am Law 100 firm to recruit a full-time Strategic Growth Manager to support the firm’s growth efforts, initially as BD coverage during team members’ leave, providing an opportunity to learn the firm and key stakeholders, and transitioning to the development and leadership of special projects designed to enhance client acquisition, retention, and growth.

Joining a collaborative and supportive business development team, the Strategic Growth Manager will drive revenue by working alongside partners across the firm as a strategic advisor to develop strategy and identify opportunities. As interim BD support, the Manager will support various practice and industry teams as needed, as well as lead several vibrant client teams.

This position requires a business professional who enjoys partnering with lawyers to provide preeminent client service, and one who is flexible and collaborative. This is a unique opportunity to have visibility with key decision-makers, provide strategic leadership across the firm, as well as the opportunity to learn a variety of practices, industries, and clients, while gaining a holistic understanding of the firm’s capabilities.

To be considered, a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a discipline requiring writing, research and analysis, marketing, or business, is required. Sales or coaching acumen is a plus. Candidates must possess at least eight years of experience in marketing, business development, or client service. Prior law firm or professional services experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and possess an exceptional level of professionalism and confidence to take on new challenges.
