Calibrate has been retained by international firm to recruit a Business Development Senior Specialist, located in the New York City office. Reporting to a London-based Business Development Manager, this Senior Specialist will serve as the US marketing and BD support, primarily concentrated on the implementation of New York-focused elements of the Global Aviation and Maritime sector initiatives and plans. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of an international team and have a true partnership with the New York office.
As an important member of the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Department, this highly ambitious Senior Specialist will work with New York attorneys to develop and implement individual BD and marketing plans; coordinate and contribute to pitches, proposals, RFPs and credentials documents; provide attorney coaching for client/prospect meetings; and collaborate across the firm on profile-raising initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be curious and interested in learning about and understanding the Aviation and Maritime industries, to best serve as an advisor and participant in the firm wide creation of business development plans and initiatives. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and have at least three years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a law firm. The candidate must be a team player, have strong written and verbal communication, and a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines.
