We have been retained by our client, an award-winning communications firm, to search for a dynamic media relations professional to serve as a Vice President for the growing company. The position can be based in New York or San Francisco.
With a dual reporting relationship with both the CEO and the President, this position will play a key role in driving the agency’s revenue growth and corporate strategy in addition to serving as a senior strategist managing large, key accounts. The Vice President will focus on building and fostering relationships with stakeholders and influencers and proactively developing and executing media relations plans that appeal to sophisticated audiences. The ability to inspire confidence with executive decision makers as well as to collaborate effectively in a team environment are required.
To be considered, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in a professional services environment, with law firm and financial services familiarity preferred. We are not actively seeking candidates with an agency background unless it is combined with in-house experience.
