Data and Application Manager

Permanent Position

On Site – Rock Hill, SC area – 5 days a week

 

In this role, you will lead the Data and Applications Team, leveraging your hands-on experience in establishing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Cloud Technologies.

You will have the opportunity to shape and guide the future roadmap of the overall data environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing the expanding portfolio of enterprise applications and ensuring their deployment across all manufacturing sites in North America.

 

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your technical expertise to contribute to data development workflows and analysis.
• Collaborate with business partners to validate data and address areas needing improvement.
• Partner with leadership to develop a long-term strategy for the technology portfolio, ensuring maximum supportability.
• Oversee data collection and storage processes, focusing on data quality, standardization, and sharing.
• Manage data protection and information governance practices.
• Foster innovation and enhance data usability to support the organization's digital transformation.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and support of the enterprise application stack.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, accounting, or 7+ years of equivalent work experience in a technology-related field.
• Experience within or supporting a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of data lake and enterprise data warehouse technologies.
• Experience with middleware application stacks, particularly in ETL/integration.
• Extensive experience in end-user data services support.
• Some experience with enterprise applications, specifically ERPs and Asset Management tools (e.g., D365 , Maximo, SAP).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
