Research Analyst

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Research and Data Analyst to drive data-driven insights and impactful evaluations. This role is critical in analyzing and visualizing data, conducting research, and assessing outcomes across mission-focused initiatives, particularly in Human Services, Healthcare, Education, and Philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement research methodologies for evaluations and assessments, including KPIs and logic models.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of social impact initiatives, leveraging tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Create actionable data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
• Perform literature reviews, surveys, and other research methods to inform decision-making.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align strategies.
• Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 2-3 years in research, data analysis, or program evaluation (philanthropic or nonprofit experience is a strong plus).
• Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of research methodologies (e.g., descriptive and inferential statistics).
• Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or statistical software.
• Strong data manipulation, visualization, and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex insights clearly.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, or social impact initiatives.
• Expertise in combining quantitative and qualitative research methods.
