Systems Engineer

Full Time – Permanent Position

Charlotte, NC – Hybrid

 

Migration experience is essential for this role. Candidates should have a proven track record of migrating accounts, devices, servers, and applications to a new or centralized domain.

The ideal candidate will also bring strong project management skills, including:

• Collaborating with users to address needs and resolve concerns.
• Partnering with vendors to leverage tools and resources effectively.
• Applying technical expertise to guide the project.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute migrations of user profiles, PCs, and servers to the central organizational domain.
• Facilitate the integration of Office 365 and Google Workspace platforms into consolidated Microsoft 365 environment.
• Reconfigure and align local network infrastructure with corporate standards for streamlined connectivity.
• Collaborate with external vendors to deploy firewalls and oversee Microsoft 365 migration efforts.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and core networking systems.
• Ensure exceptional user satisfaction by delivering effective and timely IT solutions.
• Present technical information in an easily understandable manner to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering with a specialization in migration initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Office 365 migration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team setting.
