We are seeking an energetic, experienced and dynamic Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing for our ~ 200 employees and contractors in local and overseas locations. The Payroll Manager will serve as the internal payroll subject matter expert responsible for full-cycle payroll processing including but not limited to managing time off accrual, auditing and entering payroll journal entries into the accounting system.In addition, the position will have oversight of the company’s long-term incentive program.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee payroll processing for 200 employees and contractors in domestic and overseas locations, including managing time off accrual, auditing and entering payroll journal entries into the accounting system
  • Serve as the internal payroll subject matter expert
  • Oversight of the company’s long-term incentive program
  • Own full-cycle multinational payroll processing, including data management, monthly and semimonthly payroll, company payroll contact for all issues regarding payroll
  • Ensure accurate employee data is entered to multiple payroll systems; update the HR system for hires, promotions, and terminations; process employee data - e.g., new hires, employee updates, 401(k), pension, additional earnings & fringe benefits
  • Expert understanding of payroll KPIs to deliver regular and on-demand reports to management
  • Generate and submit payroll-related report; assist with surveys, inquiries, financial audits; manage 401(k) audit
  • Maintain and manage the company’s long-term incentive program – e.g., source documents, database management
  • Identify and implement areas for process and employee experience improvements
  •  

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’
    • 7+ years of payroll processing, auditing and administration for a multinational company
    • Understanding of all aspects of payroll laws and regulations (US and abroad)
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee existing processes, policies and procedures in related areas of responsibilities, as well as brio in improving current operations
    • Strong communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a congenital focus towards delivering exceptional service to fellow employees and outsourced payroll providers
    • Extremely detail-oriented and proven ability to work under fixed deadlines
    • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
    • Experienced in overseeing sensitive and confidential issues and information
