SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT – San Francisco, CA

Our client, our global, publicly traded software company is seeking a new Sales & Marketing Assistant to join their team. A full time, direct hire opportunity, this position will be based out of their downtown San Francisco office. This role will be responsible for assisting the Sales and Business Development team with all aspects of driving growth in the business. From managing incoming leads, communicating with clients and prospects, writing content, analyzing data, organizing meeting and events, proposal preparation, as well as administrative tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with companies in all stages of their lifecycle. This includes early stage companies, high growth companies, late stage companies, pre-IPO companies as well as working with clients through their IPO process
  • Qualify and follow-up with incoming new leads
  • Become an expert in our client’s software to demonstrate core functionality and value propositions as it relates to different types of businesses
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Analyze business processes and draft process documentation
  • Maintain relationships with senior client contacts across partners, referral channels and law firms including, but not limited to, corporate secretarial, finance, human resources, compensation and legal resources
  • Conduct ongoing needs analyses to determine appropriate services to meet existing clients’ requirements
  • Understand and interpret company contracts and any client exceptions to company standards with respect to pricing, plan management or service level commitments
  • Complete client meetings, demonstrations, training sessions, user training sessions, and other client requests as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills – experience analyzing data to identify trends and extract insights
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to details and strong ability to produce high quality reports and presentations
  • Ability to focus on the designed end goals of the organization
  • Excellent skills in time management and prioritization
  • Ability to beat deadlines and to also perform multiple tasks at the same time
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or Human Resources is preferred
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies, solid understanding of e-commerce and equities; previous experience with Software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions is an asset
  • Superior problem-solving skills and abilities
  • Proven success working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and working well without direction
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and technical concepts, including but not limited to the Microsoft office suite, including Intermediate level Excel
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
  • Ability to travel without restriction, within North America, up to 25% of the time
