VP of Sales - Info Governance /compliance - NYC

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the regional Account Executives, meeting regional sales quotas, directing sales activities, reporting, reviewing pipelines, developing sales plans, and ongoing sales training and mentoring. The role will work with the executives to develop and adjust sales strategy to continually capture market share and profitability. MUST HAVE experience selling enterprise software, ideally within the file analysis, information governance, eDiscovery or related fields

Role will be based in our client's NY office

Specific Responsibilities

• Manage the team of Regional Account Executives

• Monitor regional sales targets to exceed sales quotas

• Assist in customer-facing sales meetings as needed to support Account Executives

• Conduct research on competitors and market trends to better enable product positioning

• Develop sales plans

• Support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance

• Prepare management reports and forecasts as needed

• Train, develop, and mentor sales reps

• Provide timely and accurate pricing for approval

• Assist in the creation of proposal presentations and RFP responses as required

• Maintain accurate records of all pricing and activity reports submitted by sales executives

• Maintain an understanding of our products, product roadmap, and company policy

• Assist in contract negotiation and facilitate legal interaction for contracts as required

• Establish and monitor sales objectives for pipeline development and sales volume

• Manage the team of Regional Account Executives

 

Required Skills

• Enterprise software sales experience

• Experience in data analytics, machine learning and/or big data domains.

• Contract negotiations Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required

• 4+ years of experience in sales management.

• 10 or more years direct selling enterprise SaaS software in a solution selling environment.
