Sales Executive

Our client is now looking for a high-energy and proven Sales Executive with a hunter mentality, a track record of success in Enterprise Sales, a strong understanding of the Life Science vertical and a desire to be in a fast-moving and exciting new company. As a Sales Executive, you will work in tandem with the management and their sales leadership to develop appropriate messaging and product information, so as to successfully go to market and bring in new Enterprise customers.

The Sales Executive must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, exhibit high organizational and emotional intelligence, and demonstrate the agility needed to thrive in a young and nimble company. Responsibilities:

  • Source and close new business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals

  • Successfully sell conversation ai platform and customized solutions

  • Build an intimate understanding of our client’s data and platform, and how it meets the needs of their customers, so as to best articulate the value proposition in the market

  • Build client relationships with all levels of decision-makers

  • Prospect potential clients, perform in-person presentations, build proposals, and close new deals

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to your prospects and clients

  • Track and manage all sales pipeline, opportunity and account activities in the company’s CRM

  • Work with founder and sales leaders as well as other departments within the company to most effectively understand company, so as to exceed client expectations

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience selling SAAS to large enterprises, with strong relationships within the Life Science Vertical

  • Desire and ability to work in the Somerset, NJ HQ offices

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas, can back it up with real examples

  • Keen understanding on how to tell a story to effectively close business

  • Strong preparation skills, attention to detail and ability to execute exceptional work

  • Passionate, hunter mentality, tenacious, and ability to “think on your feet"

  • Contacts in Life Science sales, commercial ops, or analytics teams with a solid reputation among these contacts

  • Ability to learn and demo the product

  • Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to meticulously manage a pipeline, target new accounts, close business and handles follow-up via the company’s CRM

  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
