They are searching for a QA Automation Engineer to join a team with integrity, doing all that it can to be transparent and sustainable. Position Description:
This role is responsible for creating automated tests for their SaaS platform, as well as writing and executing test plans. You will work closely with other members of the technology team on these testing and quality-related tasks. This position requires a deep knowledge of quality assurance as well as fundamental software development principles.
This is a hybrid position with staff typically coming into their Rochester-based HQ 2-3 times per week.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
? Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
? 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
? 2+ years of experience in automated testing and/or coding.
? Experience testing SaaS products.
? Experience writing Java code.
Not required, but a plus:
? Experience with any of the following: Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, IntelliJ, AWS, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS.
? Interest in applying your skills towards making the world a better place.
