A manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Dealer Support Manager to lead its internal service team and deliver exceptional support to a nationwide dealer network.
This role plays a key part in enhancing service delivery, driving performance through accountability, and building strong relationships across departments and with external partners. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a service-first mindset, and operational know-how in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Performance: Lead and coach the Dealer Support team using EOS/Traction tools, ensuring clear accountability and high performance.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure team fluency across shipping, production, and accounting; oversee custom order entry and resolve dealer issues promptly.
- Service Excellence: Foster dealer satisfaction through professional, prompt, and clear communication at every touchpoint.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Production, and other departments to proactively resolve issues and streamline service operations.
Skills:- Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead teams, hold members accountable, and drive results.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Analytical Thinking: Skilled in interpreting KPIs and scorecard data to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Training & Development: Ability to design and deliver product training, develop talent, and create individualized growth plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a customer service or support leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing or home improvement industries.
- Experience using performance management systems like EOS/Traction is a plus.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
