Shipping Manager

A large Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to oversee their shipping operations and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

The Shipping Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shipping operations, including coordinating shipments, overseeing the shipping team, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in shipping and logistics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments and coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to schedule and prioritize shipments.

• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries and negotiate shipping rates and contracts to optimize costs and service levels.

• Ensure all shipments comply with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.

• Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices in shipping operations and use data and analytics to track performance and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
