A large supermarket is seeking an organized and customer-focused Front-End Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of the front-end team.

The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, efficient checkout processes, and smooth functionality of POS systems. With a focus on maintaining store standards and enhancing customer satisfaction, this role requires a blend of leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of grocery retail dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train front-end staff to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the functionality of POS systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and manage front-end inventory supplies.
Skills required:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of POS systems and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer relations effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth front-end operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic troubleshooting.
