An eCommerce Company is seeking a Buyer to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure a diverse and profitable product assortment.
Responsibilities include:
Research market trends, consumer demands, and competitor offerings to identify potential product categories and items for inclusion in the online store.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product turnover rates.
Stay informed about industry regulations, product safety standards, and legal requirements related to merchandise procurement and sales.
Skills required:
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in procurement processes.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a buyer or purchasing manager, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
