A large P&C Insurance Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join as the Team Lead for the Healthcare Department. This role will involve managing a team of brokers, underwriters, and other professionals within the department to grow and expand our healthcare insurance portfolio. Experience in Healthcare property and casualty (P&C) insurance is highly desirable. Responsibilities include: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Healthcare Department, including managing a team of brokers, underwriters, and support staff. Develop and implement strategies to grow the healthcare insurance portfolio, increase market share, and achieve departmental goals and targets. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare clients, brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions. Skills required: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, market trends, and financial metrics to make informed decisions and drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute business plans, initiatives, and growth strategies. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance, with a focus on healthcare insurance products and services. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of healthcare insurance products, underwriting principles, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
