A large Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA.

The candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, upgrade and test database software.

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.

• Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real time and perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.

Skills needed:

• Strong executive-level communication skills

• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.

• An ability to learn and acquire new skills quickly.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ years related experience

• Experience with performance tuning, index management, statistics, and integrity checks.

• Proficient in SQL Server administration, T-SQL, and Windows Server

• Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery options for SQL Server
