Director Of Children's Waiver Program

A Special Ed Service Provider is seeking a Director Of Children's Waiver Program.

This role involves ensuring the program's success through strategic planning, operational management, compliance with healthcare regulations and the delivery of high quality services to meet the needs of children and their families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the programs growth, quality and sustainability.

  • Oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, policies, and the standard outline in the HCBS manual.

  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate the children's waiver program with other services provided by the company, enhancing overall service delivery.

  • Maintain and improve program quality through regular review, staff training, and the implementation of best practices in care.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems and drive program innovation.

  • Proven track record of managing and improving program outcomes, with a strong focus on quality of care.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, social work, psychology or a related field. Clinical background strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within children’s services, healthcare management, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medicaid, HCBS waivers, and the regulatory environment governing children’s health services.
