A growing and fast-paced primary care facility offering multi-specialty services is seeking a hands-on Healthcare Operations Manager to build operational systems from the ground up.

With minimal existing oversight and high patient volume, this role is critical for introducing processes, streamlining workflows, and bringing organization and accountability to clinical and administrative functions. Ideal for a healthcare operations professional who thrives in challenging environments and knows how to take initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish Systems & Processes: Design and implement workflows, protocols, and operational procedures to improve efficiency and patient care coordination.
  • Identify & Resolve Operational Gaps: Conduct operational assessments, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions to reduce bottlenecks and errors.
  • Support Regulatory & Compliance Readiness: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and best practices in patient care and data handling.
  • Oversee Daily Clinic Operations: Manage scheduling, front desk, medical support staff, and provider coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all specialties.

Skills:

  • Operational Leadership: Ability to take ownership, lead change, and drive accountability in an unstructured environment.
  • Problem-Solving & Initiative: Comfortable identifying problems and implementing solutions without needing heavy direction.
  • Healthcare Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical operations, EMR systems, insurance workflows, and patient service delivery.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear and professional communicator with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or clinic management.
  • Proven track record of implementing systems or turning around disorganized environments.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to work independently.
  • Experience working in primary care or multi-specialty practices preferred.
