A flooring company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have prior bookkeeping experience and be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Record and reconcile all incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain General Ledger: Track expenses, prepare journal entries, and assist in month-end close procedures.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Generate basic financial statements, job costing reports, and assist with tax preparation.
  • Payroll & Vendor Management: Assist with payroll processing and maintain vendor files, W-9s, and payment histories.

Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with vendors, customers, and team members.
  • Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction or trade industry a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
