In-House Sales Representative

A Plumbing Products Supplier is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated In-House Salesman to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success.

The In-House Salesman will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the plumbing supplies department. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers- understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations and solutions.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling the range of plumbing supplies, identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the market.

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product offerings and industry trends and educate customers on the features, benefits, and applications of products.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction and follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure their needs are met and identify opportunities for repeat business.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.
