SOLUTIONS ANALYST (Business Analyst)

As a Solutions Analyst, you will be involved in all phases of software development, from requirements definition to production releases. We work in an environment that encourages individual initiative, leadership at all levels, and team-based continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Solutions Analysts must possess strong leadership skills and an ability to provide oversight and mentorship to junior level associates and be able to perform the following:

  • Will to deliver effective, clear, and consistent functional and technical documentation supporting one or more projects
  • Will be required to facilitate communications between and among highly experienced business and IT associates
  • Provide documentation of one or more projects in coordination with cross-functionality team members.

SPECIFICATIONS

Required

This role will require someone to be an excellent communicator and have the ability to reach across departments/skillsets/levels to attain the proper information and get stakeholder buy-in. In addition, the Solutions Analyst should possess the following:

  • Ability to facilitate Requirements/Design/Test workshops between diverse teams
  • Ability to clearly define/write detailed business requirements including functional/non-functional
  • Ability to facilitate and define sprint sessions/story grooming
  • End-to-End understanding of project lifecycle - defining scope and requirements clearly through testing and system implementation

Preferred

  • Personal Attributes: Confident, Self-starter, Strong work ethic, Highly motivated, Sense of humor, A Winning ‘Will-Do’ attitude, Team oriented
  • Expert knowledge of 2 or more project management/software development tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, Clarity, etc.)
  • Experience with SAFe processes a plus.
