We are looking for an E&I Engineer to join our team. As the site Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead the electrical engineering efforts that support our customer's pharmaceutical production facility’s safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will drive improvements, optimise systems, and establish best-in-class maintenance practices for the site’s electrical infrastructure, including HV, MV, and LV systems. This role is essential for maintaining the facility’s compliance, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Electrical SME: Serve as the primary expert for all electrical systems across the facility, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and solutions for complex electrical issues.
- Lead & Develop Electrical Maintenance Programme: Establish and oversee a comprehensive electrical maintenance programme covering HV (High Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage), and LV (Low Voltage) systems. Drive adherence to standards to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development: Develop, document, and implement a site-specific Electrical Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to standardise and enhance maintenance practices.
- Maximo Programme Management: Set up and manage the electrical maintenance programme within Maximo, ensuring all maintenance activities are tracked, scheduled, and recorded to optimise asset lifecycle and compliance.
- Drive Electrical Infrastructure Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance the site’s electrical infrastructure, including safety and performance upgrades, and lead initiatives to implement these improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in electrical engineering or E&I engineering, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems, as well as experience with maintenance software like Maximo. Proficiency in industry-standard safety and reliability practices for electrical infrastructure.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP standards, and regulatory requirements for electrical safety and compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead projects and collaborate across teams.
