The Project Manager (Pharmaceutical) (PE) will be responsible for the successful execution of projects and key initiatives, within budget, on time, and meeting business objective(s).

The PM is accountable for all aspects of project performance including; planning and execution of project activities, managing project resources, overseeing financial performance and acting as liaison for senior management and other stakeholders.

 

Key relationships: Engineering Director, EHS, Operations, Warehouse, Laboratory & QA

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage approved projects.
  • Develop business case for projects, prepare proposals and options, and gain stakeholder support and approval
  • Manage projects through a project life cycle (initiation through close out)
  • Prepare budgets and provide regular project status updates and cost reports
  • Perform detailed project planning including but not limited to schedule and resources and successfully execute cross functional projects
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (GMP), fire and access compliance, EHS compliance
  • Interaction with appointed design team, representing customer on subsequent projects
  • Close liaison with site personnel and management.
  • Prepare timely project reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including reporting any potential project delays timely and provide mitigation plans to assure on-time execution
  • Contractor management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in execution of engineering projects
  • Experience working in a GMP or regulated industry desirable.
  • Experience delivering high potency containment projects.
  • Experience with a formal project management system.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in project management
  • Minimum 5+ years’ relevant work experience
  • He/she will have superior MS office skills.
  • IT literate and have excellent organisation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Self motivated, a self-starter and ambitious to grow the role as the company grows.
