My client is seeking employee benefits talent for their growing brokerage firm in Boston.
Assists the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting needs of their clients.
Promptly and accurately respond to client's requests through utilization of technical expertise in the benefits field. Administer marketing and renewal functions including preparation of requests for proposals. Review contrcts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc. for accuracy. Prepare and submit client utilization and financial reporting to the consultant and client. Assist senior consultant in identifying, planning and developing methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit programs. Keep abreast of changing market conditions and innovations in the industry. Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.
Minimum of 2 years in an insurance related industry or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Currently licensed in Life/Accident and Health insurance preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgement. Strong attention to detail. PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software programs
