Human Resources Administrative Assistant

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant supports all HR functions including, managing benefits, maintaining employee records, filing, and training. This position will be instrumental in coordinating employee events to promote the company’s Core Values. The Human Resources Administrative Position will also perform light bookkeeping duties and work under the direction of the Finance/HR Manager.


LMA - (Lead, Manage, Accountable) a culture committee with sole responsibilities to:

  • Drive our Core Values into every aspect of our company

  • Support our diverse team (both English and Spanish)

  • Organize social and company events, community involvement.

  • Plan, organize and implement rewards and achievement programs



LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountable) our safety programs:

  • Greenius platform management

  • Ongoing certification and licensing renewal management


Ongoing Hiring/Employee Relations:

  • Screens applicants and assists management in the hiring process

  • Tracks all employee data via our platform

  • Responsible for responding to inquiries on a wide range of human resources initiatives

    including but not limited to recruitment, orientations, employee relations and benefits.

  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs


Employee Management with Division Managers:

  • Prepare, maintain, and update paperwork, forms and general correspondence to include

    employee work records, absences, time off, vacation and sick requests.

  • Prepares all correspondence related to benefits, recruitment, and training.

  • Administers job classifications, which include all written job descriptions.

  • Assist Finance/HR Manager with administrative tasks to include light bookkeeping.



Job Requirements:

  • A positive and energetic personality with strong communication skills.

  • Ability to juggle tasks and manage workflow and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid proficiency working with computer applications, such as MS Excel, MS Word,

    Google Docs, QuickBooks and client data management.

  • Spanish speaking is preferred- conversational Spanish is acceptable.
