Well-established landscape firm in Washington D.C. - looking for the best Design Sales professional to drive growth and sell award-winning design/build projects.

We are seeking a confident, competitive, proactive self-starter that is enthusiastic, driven, and client-oriented with experience in Landscape Industry. This individual will be responsible for the strategic planning and design of projects for our clients. These projects may include, but are not limited to: planting, gardening, mulching, lighting, irrigation, drainage and hardscape items. It is expected that this position works from initial consultation to pricing strategy and procurement, through installation, working closely with crews, and follows through until the project is complete, billed and paid.

Candidates must be able to prioritize and build relationships to ensure successful outcomes on projects, while communicating and influencing effectively with clientele verbally and through plans when needed.

Proficient in estimating these types of projects and hand rendering or using Landscape Design software and/or CAD associated with graphic presentations. Possess working knowledge of local plant materials, irrigation, grading/drainage, flowers, topographies and hardscape. Problem solving, goal oriented attention to detail is essential.
