Opportunity Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Landscape Enhancement Division Manager with a proven track record of managing people, along with knowledge and experience in the landscape industry. As a key member of the Company's team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all employees and crews within the Landscape Beautification division, while providing on- site support, when necessary.

  • Ensuring that your crews understand and have all the proper tools and equipment to complete the scheduled job for the day.

  • Serving as the primary contact for all employees within your division and being the link between upper management.

  • Working with team members throughout the division to ensure they are completing their jobs to the expected quality.

  • Working with the Operations Leadership Team to ensure we are following the Core Values of our Company.

  • Managing Division Profit and Loss Statement, while staying within the Operating Budget.

  • Tracking all Tools and Equipment within the Division.

  • Completing Monthly Division reports to present at the Monthly Staff Meeting.

  • Being involved in the Employee Review process for each member of the Landscape Division.

 

Position Requirements:Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and manager who is results-driven, assertive, efficient, and a team player. He or she has:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in landscape management, or a demonstrated depth of landscape knowledge from prior jobs. National landscape industry certification(s) are encouraged, but not necessary.

  • A minimum of three years’ landscape experience in a position (or positions) that involved managing crews, working directly with residential and commercial clients, and coordinating installations.

  • Significant knowledge of horticultural materials suitable for Western Pennsylvania and proper planting techniques, along with an understanding of landscaping construction products, methods, and procedures. Prior experience installing plants and/or hardscaping materials is required.

  • Proficiency technology and computers.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  

Because this position serves as the primary on-site manager for the Landscape Beautification Division, the candidate we seek must be friendly, genuine, confident, and professional, with a talent for building rapport quickly. The candidate must be able to communicate with clients in a highly proficient and professional manner.
