Job Description: Project Manager (PM)
Manage the production department activities associated with High End residential client installations. Will be responsible for client installations and client management while adhering to Core Values. Providing efficient installations, team management, and upholding client satisfactions, adhering to company standards and achieving and exceeding established financial metrics.
Organization and Policy Making:
Determine responsibilities within the project team by the use of organization charts, role descriptions, and by coaching the individuals concerned to understand the importance of their performance. Mutually develop position objectives with the employees of the Project Department and establish a means of measurement. Promote understanding and compliance within the Project team of all company procedures and policies. Establish and improve Project department procedures and policies, consistent with Company procedures and policies.
Provide to the General Manager information to develop income, expense, and capital budgets for the Project Dept.
Recommend to the General Manager compensation levels for the Project team. Establish a definitive plan of personnel to be trained and the type of training methods to be used to execute the plan. Continually appraise the performance of Project team by using the companies performance management system. Compare actual performance with established standards and written objectives for their positions, utilizing objectives and performance review meetings to coach each individual on their performance. Maintain personnel files.
Confirm each job is being completed at our below hours. Educate the team on the (O.H.I.O) Only handle It Once method and not numerous times. Follow up with Office team twice per month that all project receivables have been paid.
Manage the data processing function. Assure that all data is processed accurately and within agreed upon schedules. Maintain a cooperative atmosphere with Sales and Operations to assure all data required by the Business Systems Department is accurate and timely. Provide training to improve areas that need further development.
Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with all intercompany, intra-affiliate staff to resolve problems, exploit opportunities and maximize profit. Coordinate with all departments to assure proper and timely flow of data to the Business Systems Department.
Build rapport and productive working relationships with customers, vendors and other outside agents. Effectively represent company’s interest to outside agents to maximize profits.
Monitor all billing to assure maximum cash flow. Expedite payments as necessary. Train, direct and evaluate staff in cash flow functions.
Train, direct and evaluate staff in the preparation of prompt, clear, concise and complete documentation and paperwork. Provide the proper usage of the CRM and management software process.
Develop and assure compliance with approved budget.
Follow time management practices using various tools to ensure proper scheduling of tasks and meetings. Train, direct and evaluate staff in time management when necessary.
Continually build and maintain a network of contacts for current internal needs and upcoming projected openings. Efficient use of Clear Company to track potential recruits and sources.
Provide support for any special projects as assigned by your manager. These special projects, at the determination of your manager, may or may not become part of this role description.
